Autumn Enchantment: A Terracotta Fall Boho Wedding at Harper Hill Ranch

Fall weddings have a unique charm, blending the rich hues and cozy ambiance of the season. This blog post dives into a styled shoot titled "Autumn Enchantment: A Terracotta Wedding Affair" that took place at the picturesque Harper Hill Ranch. With multiple vendors collaborating, this magical fall wedding serves as a wellspring of inspiration for couples planning their own Fall Boho Wedding.

The Setting - Harper Hill Ranch

Harper Hill Ranch, with its sprawling landscapes and rustic charm, provided the perfect backdrop for this fall-themed styled shoot. Nestled amidst rolling hills and vibrant fall foliage, the ranch exuded an atmosphere of tranquility and romance. The natural beauty of the location was accentuated by the warm terracotta palette, creating a harmonious blend of nature and nuptial elegance. A gorgeous geometric arch with florals was used to decorate the facade of the closed barn doors. The reception was set up inside the whimsical barn hall. The white washed walls created a beautiful contrast with the fall boho palette of terracotta, browns, yellows and oranges. Amy (The venue owner) also offers couples a ride down to the property to get more pictures on the hill!

Another unique aspect of Harper Hill Ranch as a wedding venue is also the ability to take beautiful pictures with their longhorns. We were able to plan these pictures during sunset and it created such a magical image. How more Texan can it get?!

The Theme - Autumn Enchantment

The theme "Autumn Enchantment: A Terracotta Wedding Affair" was meticulously chosen to capture the essence of fall. Terracotta, with its earthy tones, served as the primary color, complemented by accents of burnt orange, browns, sandstone and golden yellows. This palette not only highlighted the season's beauty but also added a touch of bohemian flair to the overall aesthetic. The theme was further brought to life through carefully selected decor elements, from rustic wooden tables to vintage candleholders and mixed fresh and dried florals.

The Decor - Rustic Elegance

The decor for the shoot was provided by the flawless and unique Sue with SueBee Rental and Floral Designs. Wooden tables adorned with sage green cheesecloth runners, terracotta vases, filled with an array of seasonal flowers, created a striking centerpiece. Vintage tapered candle holders, flickering with candlelight, added a touch of romance. The place setting were incorporated of golden woven placemats, golden cutlery, burnt orange napkins, and mix-color vintage water goblets. Also, each setting had a dried orange slice to bring a fresh and “sweet” accent to the place setting. Each detail was thoughtfully curated to reflect the theme and inspire couples to incorporate similar elements into their own Fall Boho Wedding. Floral arrangements played a pivotal role in bringing the autumnal theme to life. The bouquets and centerpieces featured a mix of fresh roses, and dahlias, and dried florals of roses, baby’s breath, chamomile and many others. Eucalyptus leaves and pampas grass added texture and depth, creating a lush and vibrant display, specially for the ceremony arch. These floral designs not only enhanced the visual appeal but also infused the setting with the enchanting fragrance of fall.

Gerardo complemented her look with a tailored suit in a dark navy blue, a dark sand beige tie, and a dried floral boutonniere, adding a sophisticated touch to the rustic setting.

Julian in a more laid back style wore khaki slacks, a white buttoned shirt, and terracotta suspenders and bowtie. Lastly, we incorporated a white hat with some dried florals for him and a baby’s breath/chamomile bouquets for her.

She wore a silk skirt and applique bodice with off the shoulder sleeves. she had a fresh floral bouquet to contrast the smooth texture of her dress. For jewelry she had white stud pearls that were minimal but completed the look. Camilo wore khaki suit, a white buttoned shirt, and a brown velvet vest and completed with with a terracotta tie.
